In its 2024 model, the Maruti Swift debuts an upgraded mild-hybrid powertrain featuring a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine. This engine delivers 81.58 PS of power and 112Nm of torque. Available transmission options include a 5-speed manual unit and a 5-speed AMT unit. Notably, despite a slight decrease in power from the previous 89 PS, the new engine boasts improved fuel efficiency, achieving a mileage of 25.75 kmpl for the AMT version and 24.80 kmpl for the manual variants.
