Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

The largest automaker in India is Maruti Suzuki. The company has announced a price increase for the entire lineup of vehicles. Government regulations are to blame for the price increase, which have increased the already high cost pressure brought on by pricey raw materials. The hike will change based on the model, though.

Hyundai

Price Hike

Hyundai has also announced a price increase for its whole line of vehicles, however the manufacturer has not yet specified the amount of the increase. The Grand i10 Nios, Aura, i20, Venue, Verna, Creta, Alcazar, Kona EV, and Tucson make up the current brand portfolio.

Tata

Tata Motors has recently disclosed a price increase for its automobiles in India, joining other manufacturers in doing so. The forthcoming RDE norms and rising cost of raw materials are the reason, which is the same as for other manufacturers.

MG Motor

Price Hike

A price increase of Rs 90,000 has been announced for MG Motor India's array of vehicles. The Hector, Hector Plus, ZS EV, Astor, and Gloster make up MG's current lineup. The company is getting ready to update its Hector and Hector Plus SUVs.

Citroen/Jeep/Volkswagen/Renault

The C3 and C5 Aircross SUV will see a price increase of 1.5 to 2 percent af toter the hike announced by Citroen. Jeep India has announced a 2 to 4 percent price increase. Volkswagen and Renault have also raised prices, though they haven't said how much or by what percentage.

Mercedes-Benz/Audi

Mercedes-Benz and Audi, two luxury automakers, are also among those who have recently announced price hikes. Both companies have declared increases of 5% and 1.7%, respectively. The whole line-up of both brands will be impacted by the price increase.

Verdict: The latest price increase will have an impact on numerous prospective purchasers' purchase decisions. The cost of many cars has increased as a result of the approaching RDE regulations, and manufacturers need to control gas emissions to comply.
