2023 MG Hector Facelift Rolls Out From Factory Floor, Launch Next Month

MG Motor India has reached a production milestone of 1 lakh Hectors, and to celebrate the achievement, the company has secretly revealed that facelifted Hectors are already on the production line. It has been confirmed that the brand has begun producing the upcoming facelift after the first MG Hector facelift rolled off the assembly line. Although the brand has kept the front fascia covered with flowers, pictures of the upcoming Hector facelift have already leaked online. In January 2023, the Hector facelift will be revealed in India. Several reports claim that the company will continue to offer the existing model alongside the facelift.

MG Hector Facelift

An entirely new front fascia with a new Argyle diamond mesh front grille will be included in the impending MG Hector facelift. The front fascia has already been teased by the brand in a teaser from a few months ago. The SUV will maintain its current overall size and shape. To distinguish it from the current version, the firm will also make a number of cosmetic tweaks to the back.

When it comes to the interior, the brand previously teased a 14.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel, one of the largest OEM-installed touchscreens. This redesigned infotainment panel includes the HVAC controls. A new digital instrument cluster might potentially be included in the 2022 MG Hector makeover. Additionally, the HVAC vents will now have a different design than the current version, and the entire dashboard will have a new look.

The installation of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) will be one of the key changes in the impending Hector facelift. To further the car's safety, the new Hector will come with ADAS. Additionally, it will include six airbags and other crucial safety features.

2023 MG Hector Facelift Engine Options

When it comes to engine specifications, it will still provide the same 2.0-liter diesel and 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine. The diesel engine only has a manual transmission, whereas the petrol engine can be purchased with either a manual or an automatic transmission. To increase fuel efficiency, the brand may tweak the engines. Additionally, it might cost more than the SUV's current iteration.
