MG Motor India has finally launched the all-new Windsor EV at Rs 9.99 lakh in India. Based on the Wuling Cloud EV on sale in China, the Windsor EV is India's first Intelligent crossover utility vehicle (CUV). The new entrant is the third product in the brand's EV lineup after the ZS EV and Comet EV. With the Windsor EV, MG has tried to create an all-new segment in EVs. MG Windsor EV: Design Language
Design is what makes the Windsor EV a differentiating product in its segment. Branding it as an Intelligent CUV, MG has gone a bit off the track for the Windsor's design. The all-new EV gets a connected LED light bar on both sides (front and rear), illuminated MG logo, vertically positioned headlamps and flush door handles. Additionally, it boasts 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a big raked windscreen with a small bonnet.

Features on Offer
On the features front, the MG Windsor EV offers a big 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, automatic climate control, ambient lighting and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include a 360-degree camera, airline-themed reclinable rear seats and a panoramic sunroof. Notably, the infotainment screen on offer with the Windsor EV is the largest in the segment.

Powertrain
The MG Windsor EV is available with a single battery pack option in India- a 38 kWh LFP type battery. The powertrain setup generates 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. The Windsor CUV provides a maximum driving range of 331 km on a solitary charge.

MG Windsor EV: Price and Rivals
The MG Windsor has been launched at Rs. 9.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The CUV will be available in three variants and four colour options in India. It will lock horns with the Tata Nexon EV and the recently launched Curvv EV.
