New Generation Ford Endeavour Spotted Testing In Thailand

Ford Motors has been spied testing the next generation Endeavour (Everest) for the first time in Thailand. The SUV is expected to launch in the international South Asian markets by mid-2022. Ford recently unveiled the upcoming Ford Ranger, a pickup truck in the international markets last month.

The new-generation Ford Endeavour is expected to make its debut very soon. The upcoming Everest will be built on the same platform as that of Ford Ranger and will carry a Ford F1150 inspired design language. It is already spied testing several times in Australia and Europe and the company is now testing it on the roads of Thailand.

While the SUV seen is fully camouflaged, the exterior of the car seem to be updated and are now more aggressive. The car from the front comes with a completely new fascia as compared to the existing one. The latest generation is expected to come equipped with a C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights and LED projector headlamps, newly designed bold grille design, new bumper design and the SUV overall looks quite similar to the latest Ranger. 

According to the previously leaked images, the company is expected to offer a new tail light design, new alloy wheel design, and few minor changes to the SUV from all sides. Once the SUV is officially unveiled then only we can comment on the specifications and dimensions else it is expected that the upcoming Everest will differ a bit in dimensions from the existing one. 

Just like the exterior, the interiors too are new and are expected to have a close resemblance to the Ford Ranger. It is possible that the new Endeavour will get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new gear knob design, and a new leatherette dashboard designing an addition to an all-digital instrument cluster. 

Ford will play a smart game and will introduce the upcoming one with petrol and diesel engine choices. The petrol one is expected to be powered by a 2.3-litre turbocharged inline-4 unit or a 2.7-litre turbocharged inline-4 unit. The diesel one is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-4 mill or a 3.0-litre turbocharged, V6 motor. The company is also planning to introduce mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid choices as well. 

Ford in the mid of 2021 decided to make a move from India but at the same time also promised the public that it would return with a range of imported exclusive cars only through CBU units. Ford Everest in India is known as the Endeavour and the company is expected to launch the latest generation of Endeavour in India as well.
