Renault Kiger Price Starts at Rs 5.45 Lakhs - Here is All You Need To Know About It

Renault has today finally launched the all-new Renault Kiger sub-compact SUV in the Indian market. The Kiger is the first sub-4-metre compact SUV from the house of this French carmaker in the Indian market. The all-new Renault Kiger recently made its World Premiere in India and today it has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 5.45 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The new 2021 Renault Kiger will lock its horns against an array of sub-4-metre compact SUVs which are already on sale in the country. So, let's now have a look at some of the main highlights of the new Renault Kiger compact SUV.

Price, Bookings and Delivery

As we have already mentioned before, the price of the new Renault Kiger sub-compact SUV starts at Rs. 5.45 lakhs. The prices go upto Rs. 9.55 lakhs and all the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The official bookings and test drives for the new Renault Kiger are now open in India and its deliveries will also commence soon. Looks and Colour Options

The Renault Kiger is a good-looking crossover. It gets unique modern-day elements and will surely appeal to millennials. If we talk about the colour options, so the Kiger is now available in six different colour shades in the Indian market. They are Mahogany Brown, Ice Cool White, Planet Grey, Moonlight Grey, Caspian Blue and Radiant Red (available only in top-spec variant). All the colour shades are available as a dual-tone option with Mystery Black roof while the dual-tone Radiant Red colour gets a glossy Black roof. Engine and Transmission Options

The new Renault Kiger shares its underpinnings and mechanicals with its cousin, Nissan Magnite. Both these new sub-compact SUVs get two petrol engine options. However, while the Nissan Magnite gets only two different transmission options, the Kiger now offers you three. The Kiger is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This petrol motor churns out 72 PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak torque.

Just like the Magnite, the Renault Kiger also gets an all-new BS6 compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor churns out 100 PS of maximum power and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and while the naturally-aspirated petrol motor gets an optional AMT, the turbo petrol offers you a CVT. The ARAI-claimed mileage figures of these mills haven't been revealed yet.
