Renault Triber Facelift- Brings In A Fresh Appeal

While this is not the first time that the Renault Triber facelift has been spied on test, the front profile is something that dropped major hints on the incoming refreshes. For starters, the headlamp takes a new approach with LED DRLs now being integrated horizontally within the unit towards the top. What is more likely to happen is the upgrade from halogen to a projector LED setup in its higher trim, something that the current model omits. Also, the grille is now a new unit with horizontal slats, with the bumper potentially being tweaked as well. As for the rear profile, which is missing in these shots, it is also getting a fresh makeover with rectangular tail lamps and a newly sculpted lower bumper as per the previous sightings.

The cabin is also expected to offer radical new updates in terms of the dashboard layout, along with some techy new upgrades like a bigger infotainment touchscreen and some more add-on features to make it a better place for the occupants. However, there have been no sightings of the inside, so what kind of update to expect is still a little way in the future. But rest assured, Renault will be trying to keep its affordable entry-level tag intact but the higher trims might go a little lavish with the creature comforts.

Powertrain
The highly anticipated 2025 Renault Triber facelift is poised to make its debut in Indian showrooms by late 2025 or shortly thereafter. This refreshed model is expected to carry forward its dependable 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which currently delivers 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options will likely remain the familiar 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
While primarily a cosmetic and feature-driven update, any significant enhancements to the cabin's bling could lead to a minor price adjustment upon its official launch. Currently, the prices start at Rs. 6.15 lakhs and rival the likes of Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Rumion, and other MPVs in its class.
Verdict
Despite being one of the most budget-friendly MPVs in the market, the Renault Triber has only managed to deliver modest sales figures. With an upcoming update in the pipeline, Renault appears to be aiming to bring the Triber back into the spotlight and highlight its strong value-for-money proposition. This refresh could help the model regain traction in a competitive segment. While exact details about the changes inside the cabin remain under wraps for now, more information is expected to surface as test mules continue to be spotted.
