Rs 45,000 Discount Benefits On Volkswagen Cars In May - Details

Volkswagen is all gearing up for the launch of its mid-size SUV, Taigun in the coming weeks. But before that, the German carmaker is offering huge benefits for this month. For May 2021, Volkswagen is offering a discount worth Rs 45,000 on some of its models and let's check out which one.

Volkswagen Polo

The top-spec GT TSI variant is available with a hefty offer of Rs 45,000. This is further seen as Rs 20,000 cash + Rs 20,000 as exchange and another Rs 5,000 as corporate. Other variants like the Trendline, Comfortline and Highline Plus gets Rs 30,000 offer which is seen as Rs 20,000 as exchange and Rs 10,000 as loyalty.

Volkswagen just introduced the 1.0L TSI petrol in the Comfortline variant. The prices of Polo sticks from Rs 6.21 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Polo rivals Ford Figo, Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Volkswagen Vento

Been in the market for a little more than 10 years, the Vento is all due for a new generation. However, the time for an update is not on the cards anytime soon but the German carmaker is providing discount worth Rs 35,000. This is further seen as Rs 25,000 exchange and another Rs 10,000 loyalty.

Both Volkswagen Polo and Vento gets a 1.0L TSI petrol engine. This three-cylinder, turbocharged BS6 unit pumps out 109 bhp with 175 Nm of peak torque. Not only it is power-packed but it is fuel-efficient too. A 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter are observed.

Volkswagen Polo also gets a 1.0L MPI engine. This one generates 75 bhp at 6200 RPM with a peak torque of 95 Nm at 2950 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only and available in two variants - Trendline and Comfortline. It is priced at Rs 6.21 lakh and Rs 7.16 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi respectively.
