Tata Harrier, Safari XTA+ Variants Launched With Panoramic Sunroof

Tata Motors has just launched the new XTA+ automatic variant of the new Tata Safari and the Tata Harrier mid-size SUV in the Indian market. These new mid-spec automatic variants will surely boost the sales of these SUVs. The price of the recently launched Tata Harrier XTA+ variant has been set at Rs 19.14 lakhs while the new Tata Safari XTA+ variant has been priced at Rs 20.09 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Tata Harrier, Safari - XTA+ Variant Features

The new XTA+ variant of the Harrier and the Safari pack in a lot of goodies. The XTA+ variants of these mid-size SUVs get all the features offered on the XT trim along with a new massive panoramic sunroof. The XT+ variant gets features like projector headlamps, fog lamps, dual-function LED DRLs along with R17 alloy wheels on the Harrier and R18 alloy wheels on the Safari.

On the inside, these SUVs get a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity. However, the Safari even gets iRA connected car tech features. They get a push-button start/stop system, a good sound system with multiple speakers too. Also, the safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, HHC, TC, etc.

Tata Harrier, Safari - Engine Specifications

The Tata Harrier and the new Tata Safari share their mechanicals with each other. This means that both these mid-size SUVs are powered by the same BS6 compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner churns out 170 PS of maximum power and a whopping 350 Nm of peak torque. The diesel motor comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and they feature a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission too.
