
The dark edition for the Tata Motors really worked with the Harrier and now the Indian carmaker is bringing the same for the Nexon EV. Please note that Tata Nexon EV is the best selling electric SUV in the Indian market and with the launch of the dark edition, we can only expect the sales to grow.

This dark edition of the Nexon EV will carry the similar Atlas black paint scheme as found in the Harrier. Similarly, black alloy wheels and blacked-out elements bring an aesthetic appeal to the EV. Furthermore, the blue contrast colour scheme will be seen on the foglights surrounding, window line, the lower part of the grille and the bi-arrow design.

The cabin will continue with the same all-black theme and the beige and black take a backseat. It is to be seen if the Dark edition badging will be placed on the interiors as well as the exteriors. Not to forget, the blue highlight is too soon to say. We will wait for the carmaker as to what they will be bringing in.
Powering the Nexon EV will be the same 30.2kWh battery pack that generates 127 bhp with 245 Nm of peak torque. Also, the driving range certified by ARAI sticks to 312 km but if you are driving with a light right foot then you can get anywhere between 190 km - 250 km with AC ON.

Nexon EV is being sold in three variants - XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The dark edition could be sold as the top-spec variant and might cost an additional Rs 20,000 more. Currently, the EV is priced from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 16.56 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
