Tata Nexon, Tata Harrier To Soon Get Ventilated Seats?

Tata recently introduced the Kaziranga Edition models of its SUVs in the Indian model with additional features including seat ventilation. The brand is now expected to introduce new features like seat ventilation in the Nexon and the Harrier in the coming weeks. It is also expected that the brand may also update the pricing of the two models following a feature update. Here are all the details that we know so far.

Tata Nexon

The Kaziranga Edition model of the Tata Nexon and the Tata Harrier features a number of updated features and other cosmetic updates that make them unique and better. These iterations of the Nexon and the Harrier are being offered with a front-seat ventilation feature and it is now expected that the brand might introduce these features to other, standard versions of the Nexon and the Harrier. We saw something similar happening with the Safari when Tata first offered a front seat ventilation feature with the Tata Safari Gold Edition and later introduced this feature to other iterations of the SUV. The price of the Safari was also revised after introducing new features.

Based on the XZ+ (O) Dual-Tone variant, the Tata Nexon Kaziranga is more expensive by INR 54,000 than the standard version and offers additional features like ventilated front seats, auto-dimming front mirror, and built-in air purifier. It is strongly expected that the Indian carmaker might introduce these features in other variants as well. If offered with front seat ventilation, the Nexon will be the second compact SUV after Kia Sonet to be offered with this feature in India.

Likewise, the Harrier Kaziranga Edition too is based on the range-topping, XZ+ Dual-Tone variant and commands a premium of Rs 47,000. Additional features being offered with the Kaziranga Edition include front-seat ventilation, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, built-in purifier, etc. Just like the Tata Safari, these features may also be included in the Harrier at a later point. The brand is however yet to confirm the introduction of these features.
