Design

The Moment you see both the cars, you'll notice a major difference, that is the exterior aesthetics, which are covered in all black in the Kuro Edition. Starting from the front fascia, the grille surround has become completely black. Meanwhile, the headlamps boast a smoked treatment for an aggressive look. Moving down, the front skid plate, which comes with a silver finish, has been painted black. Moreover, the side remains the more or less same, except that Kuro badging is on the fender, black roofrails along with 16-inch black alloy wheels. However, at the rear, the updates remain minimal, the lower skid plate has been finished in black, rest all remians similar to the standard version.

Interiors And Features

Stepping inside, you'll notice an all-black colour scheme with the Kuro Edition, which is known as Midnight Black. On the other hand, the standard version gets a dual-tone, black and tan coloured upholstery. The Kuro Edition also gets piano black inserts, which amplify the aesthetics. Coming to the features part, the Kuro Edition offers all the features the same as the standard version. These features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and automatic climate control, etc. However, it differs from the standard version with a wireless charging pad and dashcam, which are not the standard fitments but dealer-level accessories.

Powertrain
Mechanically, both versions remain the same, powered by two engine options. It gets a 1.0-litre NA petrol unit which belts out 72PS and 96 Nm of torque when paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT unit. Another one is the 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit, which belts out slightly more power and torque, 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, this engine comes paired with a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
Pricing
The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is available at a starting price of Rs 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec. On the other hand, the regular Nissan Magnite is available for Rs 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs 11.92 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec.
