Kia Motors made its India debut with the Seltos in August 2019 and it set the sales chart on fire. The Seltos was an instant hit and it went on to become one of the best selling SUVs of 2019. It looks striking, gets plenty of features, great powertrain options and an attractive price tag. In early 2020, it got a minor update and now the carmaker will once again update the SUV. The new 2021 Kia Seltos SUV will be launched soon in India with a panoramic sunroof and more. Here are the top five things you need to know about it.

New Features - Kia Seltos is a very feature-rich SUV. However, one thing that it misses out on is a panoramic sunroof. Its arch-rival, the Hyundai Creta, already gets a panoramic sunroof and now the updated 2021 Kia Seltos will get it too. Kia might add some other new features too in the SUV to make it even more feature-rich and these updates will surely boost its sales.

New Kia Logo - Kia recently revealed its new corporate logo and brand slogan - Movement That Inspires. Now, the Kia Seltos will be the company's first product in India to wear that logo. The company's new logo represents the company's commitment to becoming an icon for change and innovation.

Same Dimensions - The new 2021 Kia Seltos will get sheet metal changes to accommodate the panoramic sunroof only. The other parts of the SUV will remain the same as before and so there will be no dimensional changes.

Same Powertrain Options - The mechanicals of the Kia Seltos will remain unchanged. It gets two petrol mills and an oil-burner and all of them are BS6 compliant. The first one is a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor that churns out 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an IVT (CVT). Then, we have a 1.5-litre diesel engine that develops 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. It is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a torque-converter automatic transmission. Lastly, it gets a powerful 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor belts out 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission).

Launch Date and Expected Price - Finally, talking about the launch date, so the new 2021 Kia Seltos is expected to be launched on April 27, 2021. As of now, it is priced between Rs. 9.89 lakhs - Rs. 17.45 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and you can expect Kia to charge a slight premium over the current prices.
