Mechanically, the Camry Hybrid will be powered by the same hybrid system as its predecessors. It will pack in a 2.5-litre petrol engine that produces 178 bhp, mated to a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 120 hp. The combined power output of this system is rated at 218 bhp, and transmission duties are handled by a CVT transmission. The hybrid system is good for an average of 23.37 kpl, so the upcoming model will retain the same mileage figures in the future as well.
