This is the time of the year when price hikes are rolling. Jumping on the bandwagon is MG Motors. It has hiked the price of its SUV, the MG Astor by up to Rs. 41,800. The Hyundai Creta, Seltos rival is now retailing at a premium price tag when compared to before. Although the quantum of change depends on a variant-to-variant basis, the highest, however, tops out at Rs. 41,800.

Powertrain

The 3-cylinder 1.3-litre turbo petrol variant churns out a power of 140 PS power with a peak torque of 220 Nm. While the 4-cylinder 1.5 litre produces 110 PS of max. power with a maximum torque of 144 Nm. There is no diesel engine on offer with the MG Astor.
