The interior now looks slimmer, with every element taking up less space than before, ultimately providing more space inside. Here too, the double-D cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology is present. Additionally, there are two 12.3-inch screens - one dedicated to the infotainment system and one for the driver's display. The major upgrades are seen in the infotainment screen, where Kia Connect 2.0 is featured, including Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) for remote vehicle diagnostics. These constitute FCA 2.0 - Junction Turning, which detects oncoming vehicles while making turns at intersections, and FCA 2.0 - Junction Crossing, designed to prevent collisions when passing through junctions. Enhancing safety further, FCA 2.0 - Lane Change Assist and FCA 2.0 - Evasive Steering Assist offer additional protection during lane changes and emergency maneuvering, ensures a secure and controlled driving experience in unexpected situations. Additionally, the MIDC range is 663 km, and with a 350 kW fast charger, it can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. However, in India, we don't have charging stations with this much capacity, so real-world figures would be drastically different.

Verdict

This is basically a legend reborn, and now it's more powerful and tech-loaded than ever. The Kia EV6 has played a huge role in establishing the brand here in India, as it is the first electric product and caters to premium car owners. In that spectrum, it is doing pretty well, and we believe the new model will continue its legacy.
