The French carmaker, Citroen has marked its innings in India with the C5 Aircross and the price for the same starts at Rs 29.90 lakh for the Feel variant and the top-spec Shine is priced at Rs 31.90 lakh. Please note that these are the ex-showroom, Delhi prices.

Under the hood, the C5 Aircross gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged BS6 compliant diesel engine which churns out 177 bhp with a peak torque of 400 Nm. It is also said that the C5 Aircross delivers best in class fuel economy of 18.6 kmpl. It will rival Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.

The C5 Aircross features a progressive hydraulic cushion equipped suspension setup. It just puts off those bumps present on the road and gives the occupants sitting inside an added comfort. It is because of this suspension that the ride quality of the SUV is its USP and what the company calls a magic carpet ride.
Safety features like Auto park assist, EP brake, rear camera are observed in the C5 Aircross. It also gets a blind-spot system, coffee break alert (this helps when the car senses that the driver is tired) are some of the first in segment features.
It hosts a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, air purifier, panoramic sunroof, foot-operated electric tailgate, air purifier, ambient lighting and among other features.

The boot space is class-leading and stretches from 580 litres to 720 litres. Styling-wise carries French design all over and gets those fake air dams with the red highlights on the front, side and rear. It doesn't look bad rather it gives the SUV a distinct look all around.
