Citroen C5 Aircross To Be Launched in India On This Date - Launch Details

French car manufacturer - Citroen, is all set to make its India debut soon. The French carmaker will make its India debut with the new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV. The C5 Aircross is a premium mid-size SUV and it is already on sale in several foreign countries. Now, the India Launch Date of the new Citroen C5 Aircross mid-size SUV is finally out and it will be launched on April 7, 2021. Here are all the details about it.

First of all, talking about the powertrain options, so the all-new Citroen C5 Aircross will get a single diesel engine with only one transmission option. It will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that will churn out 177 PS of maximum power at 3750 RPM and 400 Nm of peak torque at 2000 RPM. This BS6 diesel motor will come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and it will have steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters too. The new C5 Aircross SUV will even get two drive modes - Eco and Sport.

The new C5 Aircross will also get Grip Control with five different modes. They are Standard, Snow, All-Terrain (Mud, Damp Grass, etc), Sand and Traction Control off. This new premium SUV is claimed to be very fuel-efficient and its ARAI mileage is rated at 18.6 kmpl. As already mentioned before, the C5 Aircross will be a mid-size SUV. It will measure 4500 mm in length, 2099 mm in width and 1710 mm in height. The wheelbase of the SUV stands at 2730 mm and it will have a massive 590-litre boot space.

The Citroen C5 Aircross will be the first product of this French carmaker in India and so it will come loaded with goodies upto the brim. Some notable features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, etc. Now, the India launch date of the Citroen C5 Aircross is out and we expect to be priced from Rs. 25 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
