Recently we drove Kia Motor's second product, Carnival, a premium MPV that rivals the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta. And it was the top-end trim we drove which comes with all the bells and whistles. We think that the luxury factory and top-notch features will be Carnival's USP in the market.
However, not anyone can afford to buy the top-spec variant, and we have seen various car buyers moving to aftermarket accessories. We expect the same with Kia Carnival. But what if we tell you that Kia Motors provides genuine accessories for the Carnival's mid-spec variant (Prestige) so consumers do not have to sit for aftermarket non-branded things.
Coat Hanger
Kia ensures to keep intact the premium-ness of the Carnival by providing a coat hanger as an accessory. This means that now you can go on those business meetings with a wrinkle-free coat by utilising the hanger.
Neck Rest
If your car is being chauffeured or driven for a long drive, then sure, the Kia Carnival seats hug you when you sit on them. But to ensure you have a comfortable long drive, Kia is providing 'neck rest' as an accessory option. This ensures that your neck doesn't end up in pain once you've reached your destination.
Rear Entertainment System
We talked about how Kia Motors ensures a comfortable ride for the consumers for long rides. And to make the long drive enjoyable, too, they are providing a rear-seat entertainment package that is seen in the Limousin variant so that you can watch the movie on the go. Or it can keep your kids entertained at the back while you drive without any worry in the world.
Tissue Box
I know what you'll say, a tissue box is something that you can buy from the aftermarket. But for once, have a look. The black leather with red stitching indeed gives a statement when you pull tissues from the box. The good part is that we think the tissues can be refilled again.
Carpets
Every car manufacturer provides this as an accessory to keep your car clean. And so does Kia too. The carpets follow a design pattern and come with Carnival badging.
Number Plate Garnish
Aftermarket chrome treatment fades out after a while and makes the surface yellow. Kia Motors is providing a chrome treatment for the number plate of the Carnival.
Rear Bumper Reflector Protector
These are used to protect the reflector, which is placed at the rear bumper of the Carnival.
Door Visor Chrome Treatment
In the mid-spec of the Carnival, the manufacturers are providing chrome visor as standard. And to style it up a little bit, they are also giving out chrome treatment, and if you ask us, it suits the MPV.
ORVM Garnish
It is not the whole ORVM that receives a chrome treatmentjust a bit of chrome right above the indicator.
Body Side Moulding and Side Step
Sidestep ensures that getting inside the car is more accessible, and the bodyside moulding protects the vehicle from any lower side scratches.
Headlight Garnish
It's like the company will provide a separate chrome accessories package reserved for certain parts of the Carnival. The chrome garnish surrounding the headlight gives it a distinct look. Although, we do miss the taillight garnish. Upon launch, let's see if they provide the taillight chrome treatment.

Kia Carnival accessories also include a practical add-on. Often when we are on the roads, the two-wheelers zip across our vehicles, and that's when our bumpers receive scratches from the side. This black bumper protector ensures that all the scratches are taken by it. This is undoubtedly one of the most useful Kia Carnival accessories for congested cities.
