Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition Leaked and Spied at Dealership - Pictures and All Details

Kia Motors made its Indian debut in August 2019 with the launch of the Seltos mid-size SUV and it set the sales chart on fire. The Seltos was one of the most loved and best-selling cars of 2019. Even today, the Kia Seltos is selling in very good numbers and it is because of this car that Kia achieved the One Lakh sales milestone in India within just eleven months. Recently, the Seltos turned One in India. To commemorate this occasion, the company will soon launch the Anniversary Edition of Kia Seltos. So, let's have a closer look at its images and all other details.

The Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition has leaked on the internet and also it has started arriving at Kia dealerships across the country. The anniversary edition of the Seltos will be based on the mid-spec HTX trim. Since it will be a limited edition ' first-anniversary' variant, it will be sold only for a limited period of time. Talking about the changes, the anniversary edition of the Seltos will get plenty of updates. It will feature new tusk shape front skid plate with silver diffuser fins, raven black skid plate with silver diffuser fins and tangerine dual muffler design at the rear.

The Seltos Anniversary Edition will also get tangerine fog lamp bezel, side sill with tangerine inserts and Seltos logo. We also have 17-inch raven black alloy wheels with orange centre cap and Anniversary Edition sticker on the tailgate. The Seltos Anniversary Edition will be available in four colours including three dual-tone schemes. They are - Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl (exclusive) and Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl (exclusive). Apart from the exterior changes, on the inside, the Anniversary Edition variants will get an all-black theme.

The cabin of the car will be enriched with raven black leatherette seats with a honeycomb pattern, a black-coloured one-tone crash pad and mono-tone black door trims. Surprisingly, the Seltos HTX Anniversary Edition will be around 60 mm longer at 4375 mm than the regular HTX (4315 mm), thanks to the new front and rear skid plates. It will also get smart remote engine start function for the manual variants. The Seltos HTX Anniversary Edition will be powered by 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both of them churn out 115 PS of power. The petrol motor develops 144 Nm of torque while the oil-burner pumps out 250 Nm of peak torque.

The Petrol variant of the Seltos Anniversary Edition will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as well as an IVT (CVT) while the Diesel variant will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. Talking about the price and launch timeline, so the Seltos Anniversary Edition will be launched within a few days. We expect Kia to charge a slight premium for the HTX trim of the Seltos Anniversary Edition. Currently, the price of the HTX trim starts at Rs. 13.44 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
