Maruti Dzire CNG to be Available in Two Trims: All Details Here

Maruti Dzire CNG: Maruti Suzuki India has launched the new-gen Dzire in India. The all-new Dzire gets a complete design. The good news is that the brand has launched the Dzire CNG simultaneously at the launch event. The Dzire CNG will be available in two broad trims- VXi MT (Mid-spec) and ZXi MT (second-top). Maruti Dzire CNG: Engine and Fuel Economy

The Maruti Dzire CNG sources its power from a 1.2 Z-Series engine that makes 68 bhp of power and 101.8 Nm of torque in CNG mode. The powerhouse gets a sole transmission option- a five-speed MT. With this setup, the Dzire CNG is claimed to provide a mileage of 33.73 km/kg. When compared to the Swift CNG, the Dzire's mileage is up by almost 1 km/kg. For those who are unaware, the new-gen Dzire 1.2 NA petrol engine generates 82 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque.

What All You Get?

As I mentioned above, the Dzire CNG is available in two variants- one of which is mid-spec (VXi) and the second is one below the top (ZXi). The ZXi variant offers features such as a 15-inch alloy wheel, TPMS, reverse parking camera, auto-headlamps, rear AC Vents, button start/stop, wireless phone mirroring and Suzuki Connected car technology.

Maruti Dzire CNG: Competition

Until now we have no information regarding the price of the Dzire CNG. But the Dzire CNG has been competing with the likes of the Hyundai Aura CNG, and Tigor CNG from a very long time ago in our market. With some major features enhancements, the Dzire has now become a strong contender in its segment, but it rivals like Tigor also have some goodies to offer such as an AMT gearbox and twin-cylinder CNG technology that saves a decent boot space.
