One of the largest Indian carmakers, Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts worth Rs 55,000 on some of its models for August 2020. Maruti Suzuki Arena offers Alto 800, Swift, Dzire, Celerio, S-Presso, Ertiga and Brezza in their portfolio and the rest of their cars are sold via Nexa premium dealership.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio BS6 Petrol/CNG
Earlier too in July, the discounts on Celerio was the highest and the same continues with this month, August. The hatchback comes with a 1.0L petrol engine used in S-Presso and WagonR. Maruti is offering up to Rs 55,000 discount on the Celerio and this is further broken into Rs 30,000 as cash discount, Rs 20,000 as exchange and another Rs 5,000 as a corporate discount.

Maruti S-Presso
Also known as the mini SUV by Maruti, the S-Presso is a peppy car which uses the same 1.0L petrol engine found in Celerio. The car delivers an excellent fuel economy and offers a better ride because of its height. Maruti is offering Rs 50,000 as discount which includes Rs 25,000 as cash, Rs 20,000 as exchange and another Rs 5,000 as a corporate discount.
Maruti Dzire Petrol Facelift
One of the best selling sedan in its segment along with the most fuel-efficient petrol engine, Dzire is the most loved sedan in the country. To further improve the sales, Maruti is offering Rs 40,000 as a total discount on this one. This is further broken into Rs10,000 as cash, Rs 25,000 as an exchange and another Rs 5,000 as a corporate discount.
Maruti 800 Petrol/CNG
Maruti's entry-level hatchback, Alto 800 competes with Renault Kwid and Datsun Redi-GO. The car is widely popular in the mountains by cab aggregators and the CNG version is popular in the metro cities. Maruti is offering a total discount of Rs 36,000 (Rs 18,000 cash, Rs 15,000 exchange, Rs 3000 corporate) on this one.
Maruti Swift
Like the Dzire which is the number one sedan in its segment, Swift also follows a similar path in the hatchback segment. Maruti is offering up to Rs 35,000 (Rs 10,000 cash, Rs 20,000 exchange and Rs 5,000 as corporate) discounts for August 2020 on this car.

Maruti Eeco
This van is widely popular in rural and sub-urban areas and Maruti sold a total of 8,504 units in July 2020. This car uses a 1.2L petrol engine which makes 72 bhp and 98 Nm of peak torque. It is offered in both petrol and CNG variants. Maruti is offering Rs 33,000 as cash discount (Rs 10,000 cash, Rs 20,000 and Rs 3,000 as exchange).
Maruti Wagon R
Maruti Wagon R is one such car which is widely popular in commercial as well as private markets. The car is offered in both 1.0L and 1.2L engines with both 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. Maruti is offering a generous Rs 33,000 discount on this one. That includes Rs 10,000 as cash, Rs 20,000 as exchange and another Rs 3,000 as a corporate discount.
Maruti Brezza
Maruti Brezza is offered with a 1.5L petrol engine which makes 103 bhp and 138 Nm of peak torque. The compact SUV rivals Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport and upcoming Kia Sonet. Maruti is offering Rs 20,000 as exchange discount only on this one.
Maruti Ertiga
Available in both petrol and CNG models, Maruti Ertiga is one popular MPV in the market right now. It is one of the most affordable 7-seater and is offered with a 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol engine. This engine is the same as the one seen in Maruti Brezza, XL6 and Ciaz. Maruti Ertiga is only available with Rs 5,000 as a corporate discount.
