The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is powered by a 998cc K10C three-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of producing 49kW of maximum power and 89 Nm of peak torque. Now the flip side of the story is that Maruti claims Celerio as India's most fuel-efficient car with an efficiency of running 26.68 km/l.
Tata Punch on the other hand is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of producing 63kW of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque. It also offers two drive modes: eco and city.
