The Victoris will borrow the familiar sets of powertrains from the Grand Vitara. There is the 1.5-litre, nat-asp mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 101.6bhp and 139Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Additionally, there is also the strong-hybrid 1.5-litre powertrain, paired to an e-CVT, pushing out 113.9bhp and 141Nm of torque. Those seeking extra efficiency can further go for the S-CNG version, producing 86.6bhp and 121.5Nm of torque in CNG mode.
The all-wheel drive system will be offered exclusively with the automatic transmission variants of the 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol. Here is what the pricing of the Victoris currently looks like:

The Victoris has also joined the Dzire, by becoming the second Maruti Suzuki car to score a full five stars at both the GNCAP and the Bharat NCAP crash tests. We have spoken about these elsewhere on our website, and we will soon be driving this car, so do stay tuned for our review.
Verdict
The Victoris has clearly undercut the Hyundai Creta in terms of pricing, and there is a lot it offers in terms of features too. However, the Creta offers a more different set of powertrains, which may appeal to those looking for a diesel specifically. That said, it will be interesting to see how the Victoris fares against a huge bunch of rivals.
