Maruti has revealed a special edition of its hot hatchback Swift at the Bangkok Motor Show'23. The new Maruti Swift Mocca Cafe Edition is nothing short of a show-stopper. The car has been updated with numerous minute changes. Read all of the details about this special edition Swift below.

Maruti Swift Mocca Cafe Edition - Exterior Photos

The car showcased seems based on a mid-variant; probably VXI. It is because it does not get projector LED headlights and foglights. However, the paint shade is a light cafe mocca-like. This makes it soothing as well as different. Meanwhile, it also gets sporty front & rear bumpers with racing inserts like spoiler lips & wind-deflector. Additionally, at the front, it gets LED DRL strips just above the foglight covers. At the rear, however, it gets two big chrome exhaust tips. LED taillights are taken from the standard variants.

Another exciting change is the side body kit with a carbon fiber-inspired layout. It also gets forged 5-spoke alloy wheels that look lightweight. In order to enhance its performance, it is equipped with low-profile tyres. The tyre size fitted on this specific model is R17 205/45. Look closely and one can easily figure out that the roof and ORVMs are painted in a light beige shade. The exteriors, hence, are dual-tone in shade.

A major modification can be seen on the inside of the Mocca Cafe edition. The main change to notice is the use of coffee-like beige leather. The seat covers to get a mix of beige as well as coffee colour leather. However, the door pads also get beige leather patches. Meanwhile, the infotainment system has also been updated with a touchscreen unit. Hence, it also gets steering-mounted audio controls. As it is a mid-variant, the standard car is deprived of a touch unit. Additionally, the displayed model is an automatic variant. Verdict

Maruti is the biggest automobile manufacturer in India. Additionally, Swift is one of its best-selling products in the domestic market. The Mocca Cafe edition has been designed keeping in mind the Bangkok domestic market. However, this type of edition will find fewer buyers in India. Hence, its probability of getting launched here is minute. Some of its main rivals in India are - Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS & Tata Tiago.
