The new Mahindra Thar is offered as one of the finest off-roading vehicles that we have had so far. The vehicle not only comes with a powerful and engine and capable mechanicals but in addition to this, also gets a much better and a comfortable cabin. Moreover, the new 2020 Mahindra Thar also scored a four-star rating in the recent safety crash test conducted by GNCAP. With this being said, the deliveries of the new Thar commenced a few weeks ago and the owners now can be seen modifying their new vehicles. Check out this new modified 2020 Mahindra Thar AX which gets aftermarket 18-inch alloy wheels and Renegade tyres.
To begin with, this new Thar gets black coloured paint scheme on the exteriors and to complement the overall looks, the owner has replaced the stock steel rims with aftermarket multi-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels. These wheels not only look good but also complement the overall character of the vehicle. It is worth noting that the AX trim gets steel rims as standard. The owner has still not replaced the spare wheel rim with these aftermarket wheels.

Moving to the tyres, this vehicle gets RADAR RENEGADE R7 tyres. The tyre size stands at 318/60/R18. The off-road tyres not only look good but are also useful during heavy off-roading situations. Apart from that, there are no changes made to the exteriors of this new 2020 Mahindra Thar. This AX model gets a soft-top while the buyers can also opt for a hardtop version in other variants.
The new Thar gets disc brakes at the front while the rear brakes get a drum brake setup. In addition to this, the vehicle comes with many advance and basic features such as ABS, EBD, traction control, etc. The LX model, however, misses out on many modern bells and whistles but gets all the basic and essential features.

The buyers of the new Thar can either buy a diesel-powered model or a petrol-powered model. Both, the petrol and the diesel engines can be had with a manual as well as an automatic gearbox. Having said this, the new Thar is not just a much-improved model over the outgoing version, but also offers better practicality which makes it a better product for day to day usage.
