Hyundai Venue Base Trim Spotted

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the new-gen Venue on November 4. While the SUV has started reaching dealerships, recent spy shots have revealed what appears to be the base trim. The white-painted lower spec shows a clear distinction from the top spec. It features projector headlamps, smaller steel wheels with hub caps (likely 15- or 16-inch), and no roof rails, hinting that it belongs to the base or mid-tier of the lineup.

Inside, the cabin maintains a clean and contemporary design, albeit with a simpler layout. The curved dual-screen setup merges the infotainment display with the digital driver's cluster, while the new Hyundai steering wheel with Morse code-inspired branding adds a fresh touch. Notably, this trim also carries forward the dual-tone interior theme seen on higher variants and includes features like a sunroof and updated HVAC controls.
HX5 Variant Features

Meanwhile, a leaked features list has revealed everything about the HX5 variant. Basically, it is a mid-spec variant that is positioned between the HX4 and HX6. Notably, it will reportedly be the only variant to offer all three engine options: the 1.2-litre NA petrol, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and the 1.5-litre diesel unit. However, detailed feature list as follows:-
Exterior
- Halogen Projector Headlamps
- Steel wheels with cover
- Body coloured door handles
- Faux white strip in place of the front connected LED light bar
Interior
- Dual-tone beige and grey upholstery
- Single-pane sunroof
- Manual air-conditioning with rear AC vents
- Semi-digital instrument cluster with multi-information display
- 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
- Steering-mounted audio and phone controls
Apart from this, all safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, rear parking camera, and disc brakes, come as standard across all trims. However, premium features like front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera remain reserved for the top spec.

Verdict
With the new-gen Hyundai Venue, the brand seems to have struck the right balance between features, safety, and variety. The base trim keeps things simple yet modern, while the HX5 packs in just enough premium touches to make it the sweet spot in the lineup. If priced right, it could easily become the go-to choice for buyers wanting a mix of practicality and polish.
