New-gen Dzire: Maruti Suzuki Dzire will launch in India on November 11, 2024. It will be a comprehensively upgraded product when compared to the current generation model. New-gen Maruti Dzire: Design
The new gen Dzire seems to have derived some design elements from Baleno and Grand Vitara. Now it has a sharper design and a comprehensively upgraded front fascia. The new Dzire gets sleek headlamps, a wider grille and a new housing for fog lamps. Unlike the new Swift, the Suzuki logo on the new Dzire is intact and not shifted to the bonnet. Also, the bonnet now has some new bodywork which includes two character lines (one on each side) and this addition makes the sedan look more modern and aggressive.
The side profile of the new-gen Dzire is largely the same, except for a new and sharper shoulder line. Other features such as body-coloured door handles, blacked-ou B pillars, and body-coloured ORVMs are the same as the current gen Dzire.
New-Gen Maruti Dzire: Features
On the feature front, the new-gen Maruti Dzire will derive most of the features from the new Swift. These include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features that will be on offer include steering-mounted audio and calling controls, rear AC vents, onboard voice assistant and adjustable and foldable ORVMs. Additionally, the upcoming sedan will be safer with features such as 6 airbags standard. electronic stability control, reverse parking sensors and rear parking camera as well.
New Maruti Dzire: Engine
The new-gen Maruti Dzire will source its power from a 1.2-litre Z Series engine. This is the same unit on offer with the new Swift that generates 81.58 PS of power and 111.7 Nm of torque. This powerhouse comes mated to a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. When mated with a manual gearbox, you can get 24.80 km/l and 25.75 km/l with an AMT. Like the new Swift, the new-gen Dzire will get a CNG version as well.
