Just days after launching the 2025 Altroz, Tata Motors is back with another showstopper, the much-awaited Harrier EV. An EV version of their popular SUV, the Harrier. Design

The Harrier EV retains the same muscular stance of its ICE sibling but receives an EV-specific makeover. The Front fascia features a closed-off grille along signature split LED headlamps. While the LED DRL is housed just above the grille, running across the ends. However, this EV gets a designed front and rear bumper along with a silver skid plate below. Coming to the side, the overall silhouette remains the same, but the alloys have been replaced by new EV-specific Aero alloy wheels.

Also, the EV badging on the front doors sets it apart. Moving towards the rear, Everything remains the same, apart from the Harrier EV badging on the tailgate. Moreover, it is built on the new Acti.ev Gen 2 platform. Moreover, the SUV comes with four colour options: Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey and Pristine White.
Features

Inside, the Harrier EV comes loaded with a ton of features similar to its ICE siblings. It features a 14.53-inch infotainment and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with wireless connectivity. Moreover, it boasts a premium JBL speaker system, panoramic sunroof, eIRVM with integrated dashcam, dual-zone climate control, etc. Additionally, the EV-specific features such as Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging. However, it will also get the off-road terrain modes like Rock Crawl, Snow, and Sand. For safety, the Harrier EV relies on seven airbags, a 540-degree surround view system, 22 Level 2 ADAS features, along with low-speed autonomous braking.
Powertrain

Under the hood, the Harrier EV comes equipped with a dual motor setup. The rear motor gives out 238 PS of power, while the front motor gives out 158 PS of power. The combined torque figures up to 504 Nm. However, it comes with two configurations: RWD and AWD setups. It can go from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds. While multi-terrain modes include Snow, Sand, and Rock Crawl modes. Coming to the most important part, it comes with two battery packs: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, which gives out a claimed range of 627 km within a single charge. When it comes to charging capabilities, it can charge from 20-80% in just 25 minutes with a 175 kW charger.
Pricing
The Tata Harrier EV is launched at an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). While it is available in three variants, namely: Adventure, Fearless and Empowered, followed by a Stealth Edition based on the top-spec.
