Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor S+ Variant Walkaround - Is It The Most VFM Variant?

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is the recent model in Toyota India's lineup. The Taisor is the rebadged Maruti Suzuki Fronx and is the third Maruti rebadged vehicle in Toyota's lineup. Toyota launched the Taisor with a starting price of Rs 7.73 lakh (ex-showroom), it comes in five variants namely E, S, S+, G, & V. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor S+ Variant

The Taisor boasts a different front profile as compared to the Maruti Fronx. It looks more mature as it shares a new grille design and a new DRL design similar to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The S+ variant gets reflector-based LED headlamps, and a chrome lining at the front connecting both DRLs. The side profile of the S+ variant gets 16-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, and turn indicators on ORVMs. On the exterior, it misses on rear wiper and washer and connected LED tail lamp.

Moving to the interior, this variant gets automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, steering-mounted audio controls, all 4 power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and two airbags among other features. The S+ variant misses on rear AC vents, cruise control, wireless charging, and other features that are limited to the top-spec trim.

Considering, the price of the S+ variant, it is decently equipped with features and a fuel-efficient engine

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor S+ Engine Options

The S+ variant is available with a single 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine. This engine produces 89 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options with this engine are a 5-speed MT and an AMT unit.
