2023 Honda WR-V - Exterior

Honda WR-V 2023

The new generation of the WR-V looks similar to other Honda SUVs and seems to have borrowed the design language with bigger siblings like the HR-V & CR-V. The front of the SUV boasts a new grille and new LED headlamp unit with LED DRLs and integrated sequential turn indicators. Below the grille and headlamp units, the front bumper design is changes and the bumper holds the LED foglamp units.

Honda WR-V Rear

Moving on the side, the SUV gets a new dual-shade 17-inch alloy wheels and big wheel arches. The C-pillar conceals the rear door handles in a stylish way. Honda used a design for the back end that was influenced by larger SUVs like the CR-V. Despite the small proportions, the car also has a masculine-looking aspect from the back. The elevated bumper and roof-mounted spoiler provide strong support for the curved-out boot lid and tilted rear windscreen. The split LED taillights on the new car also appear sophisticated and respectable.

2023 Honda WR-V - Interior & Features

The interior design of the WR-V is also updated for 2023 iteration. The revised design of the dashboard, steering wheel, and overall layout gives the vehicle a more premium appearance. The interior boasts leather seats and a black colour tone to make the SUV look plush and beautiful from inside. On the features front, the 2023 WR-V has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio and cruise control buttons, keyless entry, auto fold electronically adjustable ORVMs and more.

2023 Honda WR-V Engine

The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine is the only one available for the model revealed in the Indonesian market. The maximum output from this motor is 119 bhp and the peak torque of 145 Nm. Only a CVT transmission is available with this engine. Honda is likely to continue selling the new WR-V in India with the available powertrains. Given that the majority of automakers are discontinuing their diesel powertrains, Honda may decide not to introduce the diesel engine for the facelift in India.
