2024 Maruti Dzire Launched At Rs 6.79 Lakh, Gets New Design, Features, & New Engine

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the new generation of its sub-4-metre sedan, the Dzire. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been launched at Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has launched the 4th-gen Dzire with a massive update. It now gets a new design, new convenience and safety features, a new engine, and above all, it now boasts a 5-star GNCAP rating. 2024 Maruti Dzire Exterior & Interior

The 4th generation Dzire comes with an all-new design giving it a distinctive identity. The brand has refreshed the front fascia with a new horizontal slat grille, new crystalline LED headlamps with horizontal LED DRL, a new bumper that looks more aggressive, and a new LED foglamp setup. On the sides, the Dzire gets new 15-inch diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets a new Y-shaped LED tail lamp, a new shape for the boot lid, a shark fin antenna, and a new rear bumper.

On the inside, the brand has given it the same treatment as the 4th-gen Swift. It gets the same dashboard layout as the Swift but the colour theme is different. The Dzire gets a Beige and Black treatment on the dashboard with a wooden finish, and a new design for the AC vents with silver surrounds. It now gets a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, wireless charging, analog instrument console with a MID, rear AC vent, Type A, Type C, and a 12-volt charging port among other features.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Safety

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has become the first Maruti car to achieve a 5-star GNCAP crash test rating. The brand has added a lot of new safety features in the new Dzire. It now comes with 6-airbags, ISOFIX seat mount, all-5 3-point seatbelts, ABS with EBD, rear defogger, and ESC as standard across all trims. Moreover, the higher variants get additional features such as a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and day/night IRVM among other features.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Engine

The 4th-gen Dzire comes with the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z Series petrol engine. This engine produces 82 PS of power and 111.7 Nm of peak torque. Customers can choose this engine with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The brand claims that the manual transmission will offer the efficiency of 24.79 km/l and the AMT will offer 25.71 km/l.

The Dzire also comes with a 1.2-litre CNG powertrain producing 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. Moreover, this engine offers a claimed efficiency of 33.73 km/kg.
