Exclusive! Upcoming Kia Carens Clavis Every Detail Out

Upcoming Kia Carens Clavis, which will be placed above the Carens as a more premium MPV, is set to launch tomorrow, 8th May 2025. Before the bells and whistles, the brochure of this Korean luxurious car is out, and we are going to tell you all the important details about it. Before that, one important thing to note is the Clavis isn't a completely new product, but a facelift of the Carens that brings several exciting changes to both the interior and exterior. Kia Carens Clavis

Exterior

The Clavis definitely feels like an upmarket version of the Carens, as this car offers some high-end features like inverted L-shaped LED DRLs with integrated turn signals, plus ice cube-shaped LED headlamps. Plus, the front is covered with Kia's digital tiger face with diamond finish decor. From a distance, one will think of it as an EV because of this grille, but this is a pure ICE vehicle.

The side profile now features a slightly wider silver skid plate that adds to its premiumness, plus the all-new 17-inch crystal cut dual-tone alloy wheels appear stupendous. Talking about the rear profile - the Carens Clavis features integrated LED tail-lights that look the same as other SUVs of Kia - and the bumper is also all-new, with a rear skid plate with satin chrome finish.

Interior

Major highlight of the interior is situated at central console - where Kia has added the same screen it offers in Kia Seltos - a 22.62 Inch Dual Panaromic Display Panel and a double D-Cut steering wheel, which we have also seen in Kia Syros, and EV9. Other new details are central ac vents, which appear to be have gone slimmer. To add more, a large Panaromic sunroof has been provided, which isn't there with Carens.

Other details are the same - Bose premium system with 8 speakers, ventilated front seats, 4-way adjustable powered driver seat, and smart air purifier. Now, on to the most important feature advent - Level 2 ADAS with 20 autonomous features.

Powertrain

Same as the Carens, the Carens Clavis by Kia will be offered with three engine options - a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel. The gearbox options are - 6-speed manual, 6-iMT, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed DCT.
