While the original OEM KIA Carnival is a 7-seater MPV, the number of features offered in the stock Carnival are nonetheless short in terms of the equipment list. When KIA launched their luxury MPV, they made sure it came with every bell and whistle to make the riding experience of passengers a memorable one. From powered seats to ventilation in seats, infotainment screens for rear passengers; KIA Carnival comes with very luxurious features at an affordable rate of price between Rs 24.95-33.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
What Auto Trade has done is that they took out the rear 5-seats and completely reinvented the interiors by keeping in mind those buyers who want to isolate themselves from the road. This on-the-go office cum hotel experience features equipment and engineering tricks which make the whole interior modification very interesting and comfortable altogether.
As soon as you enter the rear compartment by pressing the button of the sliding doors, you're welcomed by a 2-seat setup. These business class-inspired king-size seats are powered in every way to adjust them according to the requirements of passengers. A complete leather treatment from headliners to seats and panels is extensively visible. The floor of the cabin is carved out of wood to give the ambiance of a luxurious high-class hotel.
The twin seats can be reclined completely at 180 degrees. Passengers also get extended thigh support which is also electrically operated. A 32-inch TV has been provided via which customers can relax in anyway they want. This TV is supported by a wooden work which is outlined by leather enhancements. An analogue watch has also been provided underneath the TV to give the interiors a classic touch.
The modifier has provided an electrically operated 18-liter fridge, a minibar with one bottle, and two cup holders. Apart from this, a 230W charger has been provided underneath the armrest to charge laptops of any type. Four 12V charging points, two wireless phone charging points, individual roof-mounted AC vents, and starlight ambient lighting in the headliner have also been provided. This lighting can be operated either via a remote or via phone through a dedicated app.
Due to the partition, the driver's rear visibility is blocked and hence a dedicated all-time rearview camera has been given to provide the driver a clear view of what is happening at the back of the car. The driver also gets a one-touch button that can switch off and on the complete lightning and operations of the rear compartment.
Also just in case if more people want to get inside, two extra portable seats have been provided which are also leather wrapped and comfortable for short distance travels.
