The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is yet to be launched, but we now have some more news on it. The car maker has announced the colour options that will be on offer with its upcoming EV, and all that's really left to be revealed is the price tag.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Colour Options Revealed

The e Vitara will be available with ten different colour options; Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White, and Opulent Red, and three of these, in addition to the Land Breeze Green will be available in a dual-tone version. The car continues to have a muscular, beefy stance with its flared arches, along with a hidden rear door handle.

The e Vitara will come with two battery pack options; a 49kWh unit and a 61kWh unit. While Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the range figures just yet, the car maker has said that the larger battery pack will come with a claimed range of over 500km on a single charge.
The 49kWh battery variant will come with a single electric motor placed on the front axle, producing 142bhp and 189Nm of torque, while the 61kWh battery variant without all-wheel drive comes with 171.6bhp, and torque remains the same as on the 49kWh battery variant. The all-wheel drive 61kWh battery variant will come with an electric motor placed on each axle, producing a combined output of 181bhp and 300Nm of torque.

In terms of features, the e Vitara will come with a blended 10-inch screen setup for the infotainment system and the instrument cluster, along with a wireless smartphone charger, a panoramic sunroof with a fixed glass, ambient lighting, and a Harman Kardon sound system among other things.

Verdict
The e Vitara's launch is yet to take place, but given that it will be the first EV from the largest car maker in India, it will be interesting to see how things fare out.
