Maruti Invicto Scores 5 Stars In BNCAP

Maruti Suzuki's premium strong hybrid UV, the Invicto, has secured the highest 5 Star safety ratings in the Bharat NCAP crash tests. This recognition strengthens the brand's growing list of top-rated models, which already includes Dzire and Victoris. This becomes possible with a ton of features on offer, along with advanced structural strength. Meanwhile, the list of safety features includes six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, ESP with hill hold, front and rear disc brakes, electronic parking brake with auto hold, TPMS, ISOFIX and 3-point seatbelts.
Commenting on the achievement, Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said: "Safety has always been at the heart of Maruti Suzuki's product philosophy. We are honoured to receive the prestigious 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP assessment for our premium strong-hybrid UV, Invicto. Bharat NCAP has ushered in world-class testing protocols in India, empowering customers to make informed choices." He also highlighted that Maruti Suzuki now offers six airbags as standard in 15 models across 157 variants, spanning entry-level hatchbacks like the Alto K10 and Celerio to SUVs like the Brezza, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Fronx, and Invicto.
What Else On Offer?

Being a premium model in the lineup, it comes loaded with a plethora of features. Starting with all black interiors along with champagne gold accents. In terms of features, it includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless connectivity, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, powered driver seat and tailgate, ventilated front seats and a 7-inch instrument cluster.
Under the hood, it is powered by a hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor. Moreover, it only comes mated with an eCVT gearbox. Well, being a strong hybrid, it delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.24 km/l.
