Kia currently sells the 3rd gen Carnival in India which was first launched in 2020. Whereas in many international markets, the 4th gen Carnival is already available. Kia plans to bring the 4th gen Carnival to India later this year or by early next year. Recently, the facelift of the 4th gen Kia Carnival has been spied during its road testing. This means Kia has already started testing the facelifted 4th gen Carnival and the brand might directly launch this facelifted Carnival in India. 4th Gen Kia Carnival Facelift Spied: Design Details
The front design of the 4th gen Kia Carnival facelift seems to be inspired by the recently unveiled Kia EV9 electric SUV. That's because of the vertically designed headlamps visible in the spied images. However, the sleek L-shaped DRLs with inverted placement help in differentiating the Carnival from the EV9.
From the sides, the spied images clearly show the door-mounted ORVMs, blackened A & B pillars, roof rails, and large alloys - possibly around 17 to 18 inches. Also, the sliding-type second-row doors can be confirmed due to the forward-placed handles on the second-row door and the visible sliding mechanism. In the rear too, the inverted L-shaped taillamps can be seen.
4th Gen Kia Carnival Facelift Spied: Feature Details
The spied images of the facelifted 4th gen Kia Carnival also confirm a few features. The Kia Carnival facelift will get ADAS as the front-mounted radar is clearly visible. There are also front parking sensors visible. Also, the 360-degree camera system can be confirmed because the front camera along with the side cameras mounted under the ORVMs is visible in the spied images. Apart from this, the sunroof can also be seen in the front image of the Kia Carnival facelift.
4th Gen Kia Carnival Facelift Spied: Other Details
On the engine & transmission front, the facelifted Kia Carnival will most likely continue with the same ongoing options. The changes and updates are only expected on the front and rear design, interiors, and feature list. Apart from design & cosmetic changes, we expect Kia to offer some advanced features like electric seats with memory function, heated & ventilated seats, ADAS, a large dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and multiple screens inside the cabin.
