Tata Altroz Automatic Launch Soon - Official Teaser Out!

Tata Altroz is one of the most sorted offerings in the premium hatchback segment and takes on the rivals like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and the Honda Jazz. While Tata recently introduced the new Altroz iTurbo in the market, there were strong rumours about the launch of the automatic variants of the car and the Indian carmaker recently released the official teaser of the upcoming Tata Altroz automatic in the Indian market. Here are all the details that you should check out about the upcoming Altroz automatic

While the brand is still tight-lipped about the launch date or the powertrain details about the new Tata Altroz automatic, we are expecting the brand to launch the new Altroz automatic in the next couple of months. The automatic iteration of the Altroz is expected to be offered with the 1.2-L Revotron NA petrol engine that churns out 86 PS and 113 Nm in its manual avatar. In the automatic version, this engine is expected to come mated with a 7-Speed DCT gearbox. Once launched, the Altroz Automatic will be the second car in the segment after the Hyundai i20 to be offered with a DCT gearbox. More details however are yet to be shared by the Indian carmaker.

While we are expecting Tata Altroz Automatic to be offered with a new blue exterior colour shade, other new features like front-seat ventilation may also be offered on higher trims. Other features on offer include a semi-digital instrument console, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, push-button start, projector headlamps, etc. Likewise, the car will continue to be offered with the 1.2-L Revotron petrol motor and the 1.5-L diesel engine.

While the standard variants are priced from INR 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), we are expecting the Tata Altroz automatic price to start from INR 7-8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). More details however are still awaited.
