Exclusive: Tata Cuts Altroz iCNG XZ+ (S) Price To Rs 9.99 Lakh || Rs 32k Benefit To Buyers

At the recently concluded media drive of the CNG Altroz, we put forward a small suggestion to Tata Motors. The feature loaded XZ+ (S) version carried an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.03 lakh which meant it was in the 10% RTO slab. If the price could be reduced under Rs 10 lakh, this version would come under the 7% RTO tax slab for cities like Delhi, thus making the on-road price much cheaper. We are happy to report the suggestion has been taken and as you can see below, this version is now priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.

What does this mean for new buyers? By dropping the ex-showroom price by just Rs 3000, the on-road price for city like Delhi will get reduced by about Rs 30,000. This is due to savings of 3% on the ex-showroom price. This also means the value for money factor for this Altroz iCNG XZ+ Sunroof further goes up.

Approx RTO on earlier pricing : 1.03 lakh (for Delhi)
Approx RTO on revised pricing : Rs 70k (for Delhi)

For states like UP, the RTO tax slab is 8% for under Rs 10 lakh - hence savings of about Rs 20,000 for this model. Do check the exact RTO slab for your city!

This version has all the bells and whistles including wireless charger, climate control, true keyless entry with push button start, sunroof, TPMS etc.
