Tata Altroz New Blue Colour To Be Launched Soon; Maruti Baleno Effect?

Ever since its launch in the Indian market, Tata Altroz has been praised for its new-age design along with the Global NCAP crash test safety rating of 5 stars. This premium hatchback has seen several features upgrade and the latest dark edition of the Altroz really stands out. However, it still misses out on some things when compared to its rivals, Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno. With the launch of the new Maruti Baleno, Tata is gearing up to differentiate the Altroz from the crowd. Tata Motors will now be launching a new blue colour scheme for the Altroz that looks similar to that of the Nexa Blue of Baleno.

As can be seen, the new Blue colour shade of the Altroz was spotted at a dealership and is bound to launch soon. Currently, Tata also has a Harbour Blue colour shade but looks like it will be discontinued once this new blue shade is launched. The variant spotted at the dealership is the top of the line XZ+ variant. Other than the new paint scheme, everything else remains the same on the outside as well on the inside.

Feature-wise, Altroz is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, semi-digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, tilt-adjustable steering wheel with multi-function, iRA connected car tech and more.

Under the hood, Tata Altroz is powered by a 1.2L petrol, 1.2L turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. Sadly, all these engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. An automatic gearbox is confirmed for the Altroz, however, there's no specific launch date for the same. With the lack of an automatic gearbox on offer, the sales are getting a little affected.
