Tata Altroz Turbo Price Starts At Rs 7.73 Lakh; Cheaper Than Hyundai i20 Turbo

Tata has finally brought in the Altroz turbo and the price for the same has been starts at Rs 7.73 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is the third hatchback from Tata Motors with a turbo petrol engine, first being Bolt and the second the Tiago JTP. The premium hatchback targets the likes of Hyundai i20 turbo petrol and the Volkswagen Polo 1.0L TSI.

The recently launched Tata Altroz turbo is available in three variants - XT, XZ and XZ+ and is available in five colour options. They are Avenue White, High street Gold, Midtown Grey, Downtown Red and Harbour Blue, the latter one being the newly launched with the turbo.

Under the hood, it gets the same 1.2-litre, Revotron turbocharged petrol engine which is the same as seen in Nexon. However, this three-cylinder motor is a detuned version and now makes 110 PS with a peak torque of 140 Nm. Currently, it gets mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and later on, we will also see a 7-speed DCT on the offer.
