Tata Curvv Diesel Mileage: DCT & Manual Figures Now Out

The Tata Curvv diesel DCT is now claimed to return a mileage of 23 kmpl, while the manual variant is only marginally lower at 22.34 kmpl. The diesel engine itself makes 116 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, providing a healthy balance of performance and efficiency. For those considering petrol, there's also a 1.2-litre turbocharged option, offered in both standard and TGDi tunes, with the same transmission choices. And if variety is what you're after, Tata isn't stopping there, the Curvv already comes in an electric version, and a CNG model is currently in the pipeline, expected to join the lineup soon.

In terms of features, the Tata Curvv comes well-equipped for its class. The cabin is anchored by a large 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a crisp 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Convenience features include wireless charging, automatic climate control, LED headlamps, ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, and a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. It also offers a JBL sound system for a richer audio experience, while the gesture-controlled electric tailgate adds a premium touch. On the safety front, the Curvv is equally well-rounded. It comes with six airbags, an electric parking brake, and Level 2 ADAS features, alongside essentials like ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlamps, among others.

Powertrain Options

The Tata Curvv Coupe is available with three engine options. The first engine is a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine producing 118 bhp of power and 170 Nm of peak torque. The second engine is a 1.2-litre Hyperion tGDI turbo petrol engine producing 123.2 bhp of power and 225 Nm of peak torque. At last, it comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 bhp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. All three engines are mated to a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
