Tata Motors have recently set a record of delivering 712 EVs in a single day in Maharashtra and Goa combined. Tata currently has Nexon EV and Tigor EV in its portfolio and the same were delivered to several customers in a single day. This is one of its records where only EVs were delivered by the Indian carmaker.
Tata delivered 564 Nexon EVs and 148 Tigor EVs making it one of the biggest EV delivery events held in India. The carmaker has a market share of 87% and with a total of 21500 Tata EVs on road to date, the carmaker takes pride in proactively driving the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
Sharing the specs of Tata Nexon EV then it is powered by a 30.2kWh battery pack that generates as much as 127 bhp of power on ta with a maximum torque of 245 Nm. In other news, Tata is also bringing in a long-range Nexon EV that will be launched soon and we expect a claimed range of 400+ km with the updated model. Currently, the Nexon EV gets a certified range of 312 km only. The current model is priced from Rs 14.54 lakh to Rs 17.75 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

On the other hand, the Tata Tigor EV which is one of the most budget-friendly electric cars in the country gets a 26kWh battery pack that generates 74 bhp of power with 170 Nm of peak torque. It gets a certified range of 306 km and takes close to 9 hours to juice up the battery from 0 to 100 percent. It is priced from Rs 12.24 lakh to Rs 13.39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
