Tata Motors have started the deliveries of the Tiago and Tigor CNG. The price of Tiago CNG sticks between Rs 6.10 lakh to Rs 6.75 lakh while that of Tigor CNG ranges from Rs 7.70 lakh to Rs 8.43 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
Both these models are powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, three-cylinder motor. This unit generates as much as 73 PS of power with a peak torque of 95 Nm. Unlike the petrol model that also gets an AMT gearbox as an option, these CNG models only get a 5-speed manual as standard.
With the addition of a massive 60L CNG tank, the boot space of both cars is compromised. While the Tigor CNG boot space is still 201 litres, one only gets 80 litres of cargo space in the Tiago CNG. Here, the Tigor CNG is a sensible choice for those who like road trips and does not want to compromise on the luggage.

As you can see from both the table above, Tiago CNG gets a wide range of variants to choose from whereas Tigor CNG is limited to the top-spec XZ+ and second to top, XZ variant.
