MG Windsor EV Pro Vs Standard Windsor EV; Differences Explained
Design

One look at the Windsor EV Pro and the standard Windsor EV, and you will be hardpressed to tell the differences between both of them. Both the versions retain the rounded MPV-ish design, and it does not really give away its actual size in pictures, which is how it can surprise you when you see it in reality.
The standard car comes with four paint scheme options; Turquoise Green, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Starburst Black. Meanwhile the Pro brings in three new paint schemes; Celadon Blue. Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver, with Turquoise Green, Stardust Black, and Pearl White being carried over.

Additionally, the base variant of the standard car, the Excite, comes with 17-inch steel wheels with covers. The Exclusive and Essence variants come with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy rims, while the Pro comes with 18-inch machined alloy rims with a different design.
Powertrain And Battery
Both versions retain the same front-wheel drive motor setup, producing 134bhp and 200Nm of torque. However, both versions are differentiated by their battery packs, and also obviously their claimed range figures and charging times. The table below will help differentiate between the two versions.

Battery Capacity | 52.9kWh | 38kWh |
Claimed Charging Time (10-100%) | 9.5 hours (7.4kW) | 13.5 hours (3.3kW) 7 hours (7.4kW) |
Claimed Charging Time (20-80%) | 50 minutes | 45 minutes |
Fast Charging Capacity | 60kW | 45kW |
Claimed Range | 449km | 332km |
Interior And Features

On the standard car, the base Excite variant comes with a 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment screen, while the Exclusive and Essence variants get the larger 15.6-ivh touch screen. Other features include a 9-speaker audio system, a 135-degree reclining rear bench, a 15.6-inch infotainment touch screen, 360-degree camera, rear A/C vents, power-adjustable ventilated front seats, 80+ connected features with 100+ AI-based voice controls, and ambient lighting among other things.

On the Pro, the 15.6-inch infotainment touch screen remains, and most functions still require you to get into the screen. The fixed-glass roof and the reclining rear bench have also been retained. The new feature additions include vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle technology, along with a Level 2 ADAS suite with Traffic Jam Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control among other things.
The interior layout of both cars are identical, but while the standard car gets an all-black theme, the Windsor EV Pro gets a dual-tone beige and black theme.

Verdict
The MG Windsor EV has been successful in the short amount of time that it has been here, and with the addition of the Pro version, it becomes further more recommendable for buyers. However, even in its standard version, the Windsor EV remains a fairly affordable and sensible EV to choose.
