The upcoming eVX is anticipated to utilize Toyota's 27PL platform, a derivation of the 40PL, featuring 48 kWh and 60 kWh battery packs. With a range exceeding 400 km for the former and around 550 km for the latter, mirroring the concept's capabilities. Suzuki's Gujarat facility will handle production for both SUV models. Maruti Suzuki India Limited recently unveiled the Concept Electric SUV eVX at Auto Expo 2023. Known as the 'Emotional Versatile Cruiser' (eVX), this mid-size electric SUV concept is the brainchild of Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan, boasting a futuristic design.

The eVX features a distinctive upright posture, a horizontal hood, and a commanding high seating arrangement, combining these with key design elements such as a maximized cabin size, a long wheelbase, large wheels, high ground clearance, and signature LED lights. These elements are a nod to Suzuki's rich SUV heritage. Additionally, the incorporation of futuristic design elements serves a dual purpose: enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal and contributing to high levels of aerodynamic efficiency. By reducing the drag coefficient, the eVX sets itself apart as a vehicle at the forefront of advanced technology.

In the past few weeks, the test models of the 2025 Maruti Suzuki eVX have been spotted undergoing trials on Indian roads, signalling ongoing advancements in its development. It's been assured that the electric vehicle will boast an attractive price point, thanks to a significant amount of locally sourced components. Despite this affordability, it is worth noting that the eVX is positioned as a premium offering, falling into the above Rs. 15 lakh category.

The eVX draws significant design inspiration from the latest Maruti Suzuki SUVs, featuring a sleek coupe-like roofline. Inside the cabin, you can expect an impressive array of features, including a sizable floating touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera system, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) technology, automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, a multi-layered dashboard, a wireless charger, an air purifier, a sunroof, six airbags, a heads-up display (HUD), and more.
