The bookings of the new and updated 2022 Maruti Ertiga have now commenced at a price of Rs 11,000. What's new is that this updated MPV will get a major mechanical overhaul but will continue with the similar design and features as before. The bookings of the new Maruti Ertiga 2022 can be done at all dealerships across India.
What's new is the 1.5L DualJet VVT, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This engine is expected to generate power figures of up to 113 bhp on tap. The current motor produces 103 bhp of power with 138 Nm of peak torque. This new 1.5L VVT petrol motor will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and now gets a 6-speed torque converter as an option.
The carmaker also said that this 6-speed AT will be equipped with paddle-shifters too. The age-old 4-speed AT will now be discontinued. Maruti will continue to offer the new Ertiga with CNG as an alternative fuel in VXI and ZXI variants.

Feature-wise, it will get advanced car technology - Suzuki Connect and 17.78cm (7inch) SmartPlay Pro Touch Screen Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets automatic climate control, all-four power windows, push-button start/stop and more.
