2025 Tata Altroz Unveiled With A Revamped Design And Added Features!

The 2025 Tata Altroz has arrived! Well, almost, as the Indian car maker has not shared prices and other mechanical details just yet. Tata has given the Altroz a facelift, which sees a refreshed design, re-done interiors, and the addition of features. It will continue to compete against the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

2025 Tata Altroz Details

The refreshed design of the new Altroz sits in line with Tata's current design language. It now gets projector headlamps that are now sleeker and slimmer than before, along with new fog lamps, while the grille treatment is similar to what we have seen on the Curvv, Safari, and the Harrier. Interestingly, while the Altroz retains the hidden rear door handle, it gets flush-fitting door handles at the front. Despite this, the profile is very recognisable as an Altroz, but it now gets the option of 16-inch drag-cut, or dual-tone alloy rims.

The rear also sees quite some changes, featuring a redesigned tailgate with some gloss black treatment, along with a full-length light bar for the new tail lamps, and a new bumper.

On the inside, you will find the familiar 10.25-inch infotainment touch screen from other Tata cars, along with a 10.25-inch HD instrument cluster from the Nexon, which also houses a Map display. However, lower variants will get the smaller 7-inch infotainment screen and the TFT instrument cluster.

Some other new features include a 360-degree camera, voice-assisted electric sunroof, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and wireless smartphone charging, while it also continues to offer automatic climate control, an air purifier, a height-adjustable driver seat, a reverse parking camera, and cruise control among other things.

While the mechanical details remain under wraps for now, we do not expect things to change too much, as the new Altroz continues to sit on the ALFA platform. We can expect the same 1.2-litre nat-asp petrol engine to carry on, along with a CNG option as well, and it would be quite the miracle to see the 1.5-litre diesel return. It remains to be seen whether there will be a new Altroz Racer with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol powertrain.
