What To Expect From Renault's Sporty Take On The Kiger?
The Hyundai Venue N Line and Kia Sonet X Line represent the sportier iterations of their respective models. It's highly likely that we'll see a similar separate sportier variant introduced for the Kiger. In terms of cosmetic changes, we can expect some contrasting dual-colour schemes and subtle tweaks to enhance its sharpness, along with new badging. Inside, anticipate a fresh dual-colour theme on the dashboard and other areas, adding to the sporty vibe.

Features And Engine Options
The current model features a 20.32 cm Infotainment display with Bluetooth connectivity, a 17.78 cm multi-skin drive mode cluster, cruise control, a wireless charger, and a PM 2.5 clean air filter. Safety features include ESP, traction control, TPMS, hill start assist, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, speed alert warnings and more.
The upcoming version is expected to be based on the top-spec RXZ variant. As a result, it will come equipped with the same features as that variant.
It will also offer similar powertrain options: a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. However, it's uncertain whether it will offer both the 5-speed manual and the CVT transmission options with the engine.
Price Expectations - Details
The Renault Kiger is currently priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.23 lakh, with a new sportier variant expected to hit the market at a slightly higher price than the top-spec variant of the standard model.
In terms of competition, the Renault Kiger goes head-to-head with models such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza, Citroen C3, and Hyundai Exter.
