Tata Altroz CNG Official Fuel Efficiency Figures Revealed - Kitna Deti Hai?

Tata Motors is actively focusing on adding CNG powertrains into its vehicle lineup. A couple of months ago, the company introduced the Altroz with a CNG powertrain, and more recently, it has launched the Punch CNG. Following the introduction of the Altroz iCNG, the brand has now revealed the official fuel efficiency figure for this hatchback's CNG variant. Tata Altroz iCNG Mileage

The Altroz iCNG features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol+CNG engine, generating 72.5 bhp of power and a peak torque of 103 Nm in CNG mode. This powerplant is available with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.2 km/kg. In comparison, its main competitor, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG, boasts a slightly superior claimed fuel efficiency of 30.61 km/kg, edging out the Altroz CNG.

In terms of features, it comeswith a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 4-speaker audio setup. Additional amenities include steering-mounted controls, navigation functionality, electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs. It also gets an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, a cooled glovebox, TPMS, Xpress cool AC, wireless charging, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a rear fog lamp, among various other features. On the safety front, it incorporates dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, a reverse parking camera with guidelines, a CNG cut-off switch, and other safety provisions.

Tata Altroz CNG - Price & Variants

The Altroz CNG is available in a total of six variants: XE, XM+, XM+S, XZ, XZ+S, and XZ+OS. The pricing for these CNG variants ranges from Rs 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
